Welcome to Kathleen Johnson Quilts. My work is a study of color and design in decorative and functional fiber, utilizing machine piecing and free motion quilting. It is based on a lifetime of sewing and color immersion, and explores the relationship between traditional quilting methods and modern quilt materials and techniques.
